On the Eve of the 2014 Election Day, Sapte Seri changed the admittance stamp to the official voting stamp at the hottest parties in Bucharest.
On Election Day morning, the voting conversation exploded on social media, as party people started to wake up and find our voting reminders on their wrist.
The local stunt was picked up by the biggest TV station in Romania and transformed into a call to action. For the first time in a really long time, all the programs covering the elections showed youngsters encouraging everybody to vote.

Romania is a very young democracy. Even though it’s only been 25 years since the fall of communism, young people nowadays don’t care about politics.
Election Day programs always show youngsters that would rather party then elect their leaders, creating a wave of negativity towards voting.
Sapte Seri, the biggest Romanian clubbing magazine, wanted to show that clubbing and voting can go together and that party people can be role model citizens. So they decided to spark the voting conversation to their own medium.
Outcome
Sapte Seri changed the news for the first time after a long time. National TV stations transformed our local stunt into a countrywide call to action played on heavy rotation, creating a wave of sympathy towards voting.
Youth voting presence, aged between 18 and 35 years old shot back up from 10.9% in 2012 to 65% in 2014.
Sapte Seri showed that clubbing and voting go together and went up from a digest size to a big size.
