The task was to develop the annual business report for the Theater Rigiblick and to convince sponsors, donators and members to reconfirm their support. To reach this goal, the business report was presented as a real, entertaining theatre play called: 'The Annual Business Report - a drama in 3 acts.'
ClientBriefOrObjective
The goal is to get members and sponsors to reconfirm their subsidies for the next year. Apart from this, it is the best way to form business ties between members, sponsors, donators and institutions.
Execution
The report was turned into a fun play and brought to the stage. All dry figures, facts and statistics were carried out in the play. 3 great Swiss actors played a finance accountant, the Theatre`s president and the president`s assistant. Together, they reminisce about the past year. The play was presented at the annual general meeting with all members, sponsors, donators and the Swiss Ministry of Culture and Arts.
Outcome
100% of all members, sponsors and donators reconfirmed their support or membership. Even the Swiss Ministry of Culture and Arts promised governmental subsidies. The Theater Rigiblick was so excited that, by the end of March, 70,000 Swiss Francs have been donated to their theatre.
Strategy
The play, 'The Annual Business Report', was not only created to bring dry facts and figures to the members, it was a means to amuse them and to position the Theater Rigiblick as one of the most creative and unique theaters in Switzerland.
TheSituation
Theater Rigiblick is financed by sponsors, donators, members and cultural institutions. Every year, they meet up at the general assembly and discuss annual planning.
