BriefExplanation
This is the true story of two young identical twins. In a country where the soccer is more than a passion, one is a River Plate's fan and the other one is Boca Junior's fan. On the field, they're archenemies.. but only on the field. Their story show us why we love so much soccer. It's only a sport, and the sports can get together people.
EntrySummary
Boca Juniors versus River Plate (from Buenos Aires – Argentina) is one of the biggest soccer rivalries in the world. Unfortunately, sometimes their fans use violence to express their passion. On May 2015, Fox Sports broadcasted a match with the two teams on the playoffs of Copa Libertadores, the Latin American soccer league. This match showed us the worst of this rivalry with real acts of violence from the fans. The match was suspended. Then, on September 2015, Boca Juniors and River Plate met again on the field. The first time since the Copa Libertadores' match. So we decided to create a spot to bring a beautiful message about fair play and peace in soccer.
Implementation
The production process for this spot was different. We had the challenge to create a spot to air 10 days before the Boca Juniors Vs. River Plate match. We wanted to write a script showing fans of both teams having fun together. Then one day we found the picture of the two twins, each one with the jersey of his team, on Facebook. Their dad shared the photography. We decided to change our creative approach to tell the story of the two brothers. First we had the casting and then we created the spot.
