OVERVIEW

Effectiveness

25% of the people who started to read on the spot registered for the service and on top of that we created a new and contemporary way of reading and selling books.

Execution

We put reading and books into context and used locations of books to sell them.

We created a free WIFI spot system in Budapest that worked like an invisible library, where people could read a chapter which is taking place in that exact location. If they liked the book they could register right on the spot in order to get the whole book.

Strategy

Hungarian Telekom asked us to get more registrants for their new e-Book Service.

We thought a beautiful or an interesting place that could inspire a writer could also make us read and buy that book.

So we created a free WIFI spot system in Budapest which worked like an invisible library, where people could read a chapter which is taking place in that exact location. If they liked the book they could register right on the spot in order to get the whole book. We call it "Walk into a book".
