BACKGROUND:

With the patriarchal norms in rural areas, girls are enforced to have a “dream”:

to be someone’s wife and it’s the only dream they know. PLAN INTERNATIONAL believes that empowering women to have a dream and realizing them is the key to break the vicious cycle of CEFMU. You are not only a bride-to-be, you are a doctor-to-be, you are a singer-to-be, you are an athlete-to-be, you can dream all you want.

INSIGHT:

But, we face this one big wall of poverty. The only thing they care about is

how to put food on the table for the day. They won’t care about empowering women,

or educating their daughter.

IDEA:

What if we can use “food” as our way into their heart, accelerating the education of this belief to them? All-You-Can-Dream is an unconventional way to end CEFMU by bringing food & education to find and pursue their dream, all at the same time on their table.

PHASE 1

Collaborating with All-You-Can-Eat restaurants in urban areas to gather donation in an unconventional way to support “All-You-Can-Dream” movement.The young activists will spread the movement on digital, to let more people join, more donation, more restaurant collaborators.

PHASE 2

The donation will realize the “All-You-Can-Dream” restaurant in rural areas, collaborating with local resto/business. The girls and their family can get a free meal, in exchange of getting educated by the young activists and the empowered women. Opening their heart about all the dreams and successful life that a girl can get if they’re kept away from CEFMU.

PHASE 3

All activities will be amplified through PR and contents on social media. It’s a new form of CSR, engaging with tthe bigger food industry to maintain the movement to become sustainable.
