Background

Rocket Learning is an organization committed to ensuring equal foundation early for all children regardless of their

socio-economic realities, through building digital communities of parents and daycare workers using WhatsApp, where material is sent daily using AI/ML bots. It encourages behavior change through sensitisation campaigns and evangelize early childhood care and education at the policy level.

In its first 3 years of operations, Rocket Learning has expanded to 7+ states, reaching 1.5 Million children through 70,000+ communities. With the rapid expansion, they need effective, attractive, consistent and professional looking refined brand imagery across their communication channels.

Describe the creative idea

Since the primary target of its logo is the Indian government and funders (international especially), the challenge was to establish themselves as a professional, capable and a committed organization. We understood that to gain recognition, they need impact. Rocket Learning will take the lead to raise awareness of the issue through the identity, shaping public perception of these children not as hopeless but the hope themselves who will lead the future. While the mascot was created as a hero to inspire positivity and hope, it also aimed to stimulate behavior change in parents and Anganwadi.

Describe the execution

The origin of the logo design was a child holding a book—a representation of education—highly up in their hands. They will combine to form a compass pointing upward, representing the strength and hope that children possess, and ultimately forming a rocket that is pointed skyward. The main goal is to create the inspiring community in which education and child care are valued through the brand DNA.

We also developed a non-identifiable character as a mascot to convey the idea inclusively and equally. They have a joyful grin and hopeful eyes, and they are wearing compass shaped mask and a cape to signify that they will be tomorrow's heroes. The goal is to encourage and empower the parents and the Anganwadi in the idea that as they have the power to produce future leaders, the future is also in their hands.
