Background

Rocket Learning is a project that provides equal early learning opportunities for all children, regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds in India by using digital communities on WhatsApp to deliver learning materials.

Although the project has grown to become one of the leading educational platforms in India, its current positioning doesn’t clearly explain its digital approach. With the rapid expansion comes the dire need for effective, attractive, consistent and professional–looking refined brand imagery across communication channels.

That’s why they asked us for a new visual identity, tagline, mascot and logo to help them to look more trustworthy to Govt, Funders and parents, while also providing a better experience to kids, parents and workers.

Describe the creative idea

We kept the rocket reference because we believe that having the name, tagline and visual identity aligned, makes the brand looks stronger and more reliable for parents, Anganwadi workers and, especially, potential investors.

Tagline:

The new tagline makes a soft reference to the space theme, but still is straightforward, so even who don’t know the project will be able to identify what it is about: “Digitally propelling education”.

Logo:

The new logo merges the rocket reference with the platform used for communication between parents and workers: WhatsApp.

Mascot:

Staara was inspired by Merit Reward Stickers and is also aligned with the space theme. She has been created modularly so that her poses and expressions can be replicated across social platforms and content to parents and kids.

Describe the execution

The grid that supports the mascot can be used as a base to develop future communications across social media and official stakeholders' channels.
