Describe the strategy

GenZ are capable of starting movements. We inform them about the existing inequality and let them do what they’re best at: raising awareness. GenZ is also forward going when it comes to listening to music. The most distinctive reason they listen to music is to escape reality. That is where we want to address them: using Spotify to create the unifying movement. And songs will be our creative media space.

We utilize the power of well-known artists and rewrite GenZ’s favorite songs into enlightening truths and optimistic actions they can take. Hearing those will polarize and shift focus to the human problem. The adapted songs will be the forefront of a strong media approach and will be continued by the amount of content that will be shared on all engaging social platforms. This will make them the voice of people overheard and entail a viral movement by our share-friendly generation.

Describe the execution

We are teaming up with Spotify and artists Doja Cat, Taylor Swift & Lil Nas X who are loved by GenZ. They have a huge impact on various platforms - over 170 mio. listeners alone on Spotify.

By rewriting small parts of their songs we subtly make space for important cases and bring actual solutions with it. Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” turns from a romantic love song into a lesson about the fate of Bangladesh’s child brides forced into marriage as a result of crisis. We let the GenZ discover these changes and drop some hints along the beginning.

The songs will be the forefront of a strong media approach which leads into a viral movement and provides actions so everyone can be a superhero redefining the world. Time is the enemy - this campaign has to start with immediate effect and will have a duration-period of a 3 months.
