Write a short summary of what happens in the film

In a playful animation in the style of a child’s drawing, we show how children see their mothers: as somebody who can do anything. Literally anything.

Background

In rural areas of India, caregivers often do not realize that they can in fact play a vital role in educating their children. Rocket Learning wants to encourage these parents to become “teachers” themselves. Our objective is to empower these caregivers with a positive message: you can do anything, even be your child’s teacher.

Strategy and Insight

Instead of focusing on the negative aspects of the situation, we focused on empowering parents with a positive message. We started with a simple, universal insight: a child thinks their parents can do anything. And any parent knows – that means literally anything. Even crazy things. With our film, we want parents in rural areas to see themselves in the same way. With a child’s drawing of the crazy things they think their parents can do, we help the parents see themselves through their child’s eyes as someone who is not just good enough, but crazy good. The best educator for their child.
