In rural India, girls are seen as an economic burden and their parents often take them out of school early to be wedded. This is a shame as education is the very solution to ending child marriage.

While rural parents might not have as much faith in the education system, they certainly have faith in religion.

So, to combat child marriage, we tap into the loudest and most visible voices, urban youth activists, to kickstart a spiritual movement to help rural parents believe in the education system through their beliefs.
