Social media continues to effectively reach younger audiences with nearly 50% of TikTok users being under 30 and over 60% of Instagram under 34. Engagement rates across social platforms also proves to maximize ad spend and reach. TikTok delivered an average engagement rate of 4.25% and Instagram delivered 0.60% in 2022, according to Socialinsider data. Digital Out of Home placements reach broad audiences and evoke emotional responses from street goers, engaging them in exciting and meaningful ways. The plan is to utilize Social and DOOH to promote a new feature within the AWORLD app that allows users to define their “Climate Super Power.”

Describe the execution

Young people across the world will be able to engage in meaningful environmental actions through a unique app collaboration with AWORLD allowing the user to understand their environmental “superpower.” Through the collaboration with AWORLD, people of all ages will be directed to a new “Superpower Quiz” feature within the app where they will input their location, age, career sector, passions, and hobbies. This quiz will provide a “superpower” category ranging from clean water and sanitation, ocean life, affordable and clean energy, corporate sustainability, personal sustainability. Through Instagram and TikTok filters, users can showcase themselves as #climatesuperheros. Environmentally conscious content creators will boost these filters through their social media pages, driving users to the app, quiz and ultimately challenge young people to become their own unique “Climate Superhero.”
