Background:

Rural areas in south Asia is the places where CEFMUs is almost the “norm”. Although young girls in those areas feel uncomfortable with it, it is too hard for them take actions. There are mainly two reasons. First, they simply don’t know other possibilities like girls in urban areas. Second, even if they want to take actions, it is too hard to do so because those areas are composed of small and strong communities, and it is supposed to be very hard for them to survive in that area after being against to the “norm”. Therefore, we need to bring them a soft way to express their true honest feelings together with information on negative aspects of CEFMUs, and people who raise voice from outside.

KEY FACT:

A marriage ring is a thing to clarify the stance that you can’t be a candidate of new marriage.

The best thing to Keep marriages away.

IDEA:

The world’s first ring for girls to say “NO”. THE LIBERTY RING

Being made with used tie of graduates of junior high school in urban area,

It become a protection charm for girls in rural area from CEFMUs.

EXECUTION:

1. Get urban youngs involved & Create rings

Collecting ties and encouraging messages from graduates at graduation ceremony.

2.Give the ring as a commemorative item of enrollment for junior high school.

The set of the commemorative items come with the ring, The powerful messages from graduated girls in urban, information on negative aspects of CEFMUs, and planning sheet for their dream.

3.Go viral on social media and Tackle the rural norm.

The information about the ring campaign and CEFMUs will be spread through young influencers who lives in urban areas on social medias.

Besides, we will make a collaboration with companies which have strong connections with girls in rural areas and spread the information more.

4.The ring will become a trigger to communicate honestly with people close to the girls such as their own parents, and relatives.

In the long run, we can continuously do this campaign every year with every graduates, and also we can establish scholarships for those girls with companies joined the campaign.
