OVERVIEW

Synopsis

“UP THERE” is a short documentary written for and produced in conjunction with Stella Artois. The film follows an innovative campaign in which a group of sign painters brought an extraordinary project to life high over the New York City streets. That campaign reinvented the outdoor board, challenging its definition as static medium. But most importantly, it opened the door into the world of the painters behind the work. And in the process, revealed a story of tradition, sacrifice, and a daredevil art form dangling precariously above the rest.
