Description

The film is taking place inside a clock. As the camera moves inside, voice-over counts what activities can be done in just two hours like watching a movie or a football game or going to a nice dinner. Objects of these examples are made of gold, aluminum and steel like the components of the clock. When we see an object, for example a football ball, we hear the sound effect like fan cheers. At the end, voice-over claims that "when you're doing these, we sold out the entire of a project just in two hours". The dial closes and logo appears next to the clock.

Execution

The animation was created using 3D animation/CGI method. Everything was built and designed in 3D cad. We studied how an actual clock works so that we could achieve the realism and make the spot believable. Embeding the everyday objects inside a clock mechanism was a challenge. We had to find place for the objects mentioned in the scenario.

Another challenge was to create the first few seconds. In the video, where we first see the mechanism opening in layers and revealing the guts of the clock, were aiming a very complex, detailed and also elegant and slick look. This part especially had to look realistic. We animated every piece as if they were a part of a mechanical structure. We looked at the materials used for watchmaking to achieve the right look. Tried to apply the most realistic colors for gold, aluminum, steel and some jewels.
