Execution

The film was completely dependent on finding real car crash survivors telling true stories from actual accidents. Through the Volvo Accident Research Team, we got access to car crash survivors in all markets dating 30 years back. To showcase the 3-point safety belt as a universal innovation with a global impact, it was crucial to select survivors of different ages, cultures, genders, ethnicities, body shapes and parts of the world to represent everyone affected by car accidents.

Even though the film was produced during the covid-19 pandemic, in a world that was closed down, we didn’t want to compromise with the participating cast. The most gripping stories had to be told, regardless of where they were located in the world.
