MESSAGE: Older people in Japan often exercise together and are concerned about each other's health and well-being. As Japan’s population continues to age, a new problem to emerge is that many older persons experience health problems in summer due to dehydration. GREEN DA•KA•RA removes one concern of active older people by offering an effective way to replenish fluids and minerals lost through perspiration.
OBJECTIVE: To express understanding for the health concerns of active older people in a humorous way while offering an effective solution for one such concern. Also, to link the ideas of "sports," "active older people" and "safe and healthy" with GREEN DA•KA•RA.
CONCEPT: A beverage that supports people who live active lives.
TARGET: Active older people who enjoy sports and outdoor activities.
