Description

To get candidates to tell us why Saatchi & Saatchi was the ONLY place they wanted to work this summer. A few days later, we then put this commitment to the test, by sending them a second mailing. This was a bogus summer jobs in Greece pack, tempting them to kick up their feet for the summer. Those candidates who showed commitment and ONLY replied to the first mailing were considered. Those who applied to both were unsuccesful and were notified with a letter from HR telling them they might be better off applying for a summer job in Greece.

Outcome

The first stage had a response of 73% which was whittled down further by the summer jobs mailing, leaving us in the end with ten outstanding and original respondents who spent six weeks at the agency.
