Description

To give the clients and suppliers of the agency a bottle of wine. In order to accompany the present with thier message it was necessary to use packinging suitable for the Japanese culture and traditions. Together with the present, a card was sent, thankful for 2007 and wishing for happiness for 2008.

Execution

We rescued a thousand-year-old Japanese tradition called Furoshiki that is a sort of origami of cloth that serves as protection for the objects as well as decoration for them whilst making transport easier. The idea was not only to recover the tradition but also to stimulate it. The Furioshiki, besides being lovely packaging, is also a solution to reduce the use of plastic bags since the cloth can be used several times. Together with the present, we also sent information about several ways of using the Furoshiki.

Outcome

Besides the clients and suppliers learning a little more about the Japanese culture, a great deal of them stuck to the Furoshiki, using the cloth not only like packaging, but also like a piece of clothing and as a decoration.
