Description

Etched in stone on the front steps of Saatchi & Saatchi are the words 'Nothing is Impossible'. It's the ethos the company works to, day in, day out.

Graduates looking to gain a place on the summer scholarship would have to live up to this statement, so we sent them a simple challenge that allowed the right candidates to show they could. All we asked was that they took the A4 sticker that we sent them, and put it somewhere that would impress those judging their entry. They were then instructed to send us a photograph of their sticker in situ.

Outcome

From a total mailing of 217, we received 115 responses. The desired result of 10 successful scholarship candidates was realised, with 2 even being employed full time. We also received some very inventive responses, eg one applicant managed to hack into M&C Saatchi's website and put the Nothing Is Impossible sticker on their home page, while another got a photo of themselves feeding sharks in an aquarium, from a bucket bearing the sticker.
