Description

The brief was to come up with an overall concept and design for the One Show Annuals, now in its 32nd year. Originally started as a single volume, the One Show Annuals have grown to include separate books for One Show Design and One Show Interactive, and is offered as a three-volume box set. The annuals are considered worldwide to be the standard of creativity in advertising, showcasing the best ads and designs of the year.

Execution

This year's annual acknowledges that award shows are a great place to steal from. Winning entries in advertising, design and interactive were deconstructed as sticker pages - headlines, images, products, interfaces and client logos were broken into a disparate kit of parts so everyone can make their very own One Show winners for years to come.

Outcome

The 2010 One Show Annuals have been successful from a sales perspective and was featured on the website for Creative Review. It's too soon to tell because we also distribute it overseas and through retailers like Amazon and Barnes and Noble, so until we see a quarterly report, we won't have a clear picture. But in terms of our inventory that we sell through our website and give to members, it has been selling well.We printed around 10,000 books in total of the One Show, One Show Design and One Show Interactive combined.
