Shoemakers and watchmakers in Brazil are widely seen as professionals who are often idle. They sit in their small shops and wait for customers, with nothing to do. And since their services are not really sought-for very often, they have lots of time in their hands. In this context, a TV with ESPN is a real blessing, what with ESPN’s 24/7 sports programming. Specially for soccer fanatics, i.e. 99% of Brazilians.
