Background

In New Zealand, Burger King's signature burger, The Whopper, is one of the best selling products. We were tasked with promoting the lesser known, smaller alternative, The Whopper Jr.

This billboard site was chosen a) because the small Lumo screen matched the landscape format of the regular size billboard and b) it was in a site that has significant stand-still traffic and foot traffic, to provide onlookers sufficient time to register both the big and small billboard.

Outcome

Burger King conducts multiple campaigns for individual products simultaneously across many channels, so it's difficult to attribute sales results to one channel. However, Burger King New Zealand has seen all-time record monthly sales results across the past 12 months, in part thanks to this multi-channel approach.
