Description

We see Beyonce on stage. She dives from it, resting on the arms of fans who support her with happiness. We find out that she has 5“Number 1” songs on the Billboard Music Charts. We cut to singer Pete Doherty. He also tries a stage dive, but it doesn't go as planned. His fans don't support him and he falls to the floor. Then we found out that he doesn't have any “Number 1” songs on the Billboard Music Charts.

Billboard. A number one hits everyone.

Execution

We created 3 internet films. Each film compared the life, fame and fan reception between bands – the only variable being if they had a “Number 1” on the Billboard Music Charts, or not.

Rolling Stone versus Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Pharrell, Daft Punk and Stevie Wonder versus Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age.

Beyonce versus Pete Doherty.

Outcome

The content reached the band’s fans, music lovers, and the general public. The message was clear: a “Number 1” hits everyone.

In just 5 days, the number of impressions on the web surpassed 260,000.
