Description
An intelligent Facebook Messenger bot chats with you and buys you the Absolut Vodka drink of your choice, at the bar of your choice. Mobile feed “destination” ads are targeted by interest, behavior, geolocation, and daypart. One click enables people to enter into a direct Facebook Messenger chat with an artificial intelligence bot to select their drink and bar. A code is generated through Gratafy® technology and is immediately redeemable for a free drink at the chosen bar. Later, a free safe ride home from Lyft® is served to the user via the chat bot.
Execution
-The campaign ran Sept 12, 2016 to Jan 12, 2017 in five markets, narrowing down to three markets over the course of program. We used ads in the Facebook News Feed with a “send message” call-to-action, and launching people straight into the Messenger in a single click.
-Gratafy programmed key pieces of the bot, integrating their POS technology into it for a seamless journey and interaction between a consumer on Facebook, chatting with a brand, going into a bar and ordering a drink.
-A mobile-first, End-to-end online to offline solution.
