Description

We took inspiration from our 2015 bone crown to create skeletal illustrations across the range including the iconic Chicken Fries and Whopper packaging by using tools of the trade such as flippers to make up the skull, a straw mouth on the pumpkin cup and a pitchfork mouth on the Chicken Fries packs.

And, as all Burger King guests love the BK crown, the 2015 Halloween Crown was kept to compliment the range.

Execution

The packaging formats and materials needed to remain as currently used in order to remain food safe. The dyeline for the crown also needed to remain as per the current BK Crown shape to keep material usage as low as possible.

Outcome

- Activity happened in more than 10 countries around the world.

- Generated around 2 billion media impressions (around $12million of earned media).

- Helped Burger King continue to be the most talked about fast food brand during Halloween.
