We created “Carrie call” that you can talk to Carrie on the phone. When you make a call you can hear “Carries painful scream” which is recorded by voice actor who dubbed Carrie’s voice. We tried to expand only a phone number by viral to increase the number of phone call.
We held a preview which is limited for high-school girls and introduced them “Carrie call” after that. Also we increased promotion only by word-of-mouth by approaching someone who tweeted on twitter when Chloe Grace Moretz was on the show as tweets increased a lot when she was on TV.
Outcome
Carrie Call : over 100,000 Calls.
Twitter Reach : 1,500,000 Unique User.
Twitter Account Spikes : 1,200% (through 2 weeks)
Achieve maximum followers of twitter account in SPEJ (Sony Pictures Entertainment JAPAN).
Only social promotion without any use of normal Ad.
