Description
Instead of doing a traditional campaign, we turned our billboards into a stage and made an Uruguayan emerging band’s tour in them, around the whole country: Pilsen cartel Tour (Pilsen Billboard Tour)
This way, bands gained acknowledgement and people were able to enjoy more than 15 concerts.
Execution
We had more than 15 shows in different cities of the country. Five bands played in each billboard. Those concerts were uploaded to social networks and had an immediate response.
Outcome
Thousands of people saw the bands both live and through the videos.
More than 80% of the ones that played the videos also shared them.
We exhibited more than 50 bands to a massive crowd.
The media covered the events on their own, generating a free massive exposure.
After “The Cartel Tour”, many of the bands signed contracts with record companies. One of them – Named Borsa Tosca- even ended up opening a huge “Peyote asesino” concert. This band has been one of the most popular in the country over the past 20 years.
