The mailing raised £337,000. Despite having already given many times during the year, 7.73% of our usual cash donors responded, and high-value donors generated an ROI of 15.44.Many supporters called, some in tears, to thank us, to make donations and to ask for extra copies. A newsletter mailed in January received five times the normal amount of donations thanks to the good feeling generated by the DVD.Finally, one donor wrote a cheque for £40,000.
