Description

Coca-Cola challenged us to give adults a reason to believe in Christmas again. We decided to do that by taking them back to a time when they believed: their childhoods. But how could we do that? By granting wishes they wrote on letters to Santa when they were kids.We searched the world and in the little town of Santa Claus, Indiana, found the Santa Claus Museum, a place that keeps these letters dating back to the 1930s. We went through 60,000 letters, selected 75 and then set out on an impossible task to find the writers and give them exactly what they asked for - from a Cathy QuickCurl doll to an Evel Knievel Skyrocket.

Execution

Remember a letter you wrote to Santa as a kid? What if Santa found it now and brought to you the exact gift you had asked for many years ago?That's exactly what we did.We searched the world and, in the little town of Santa Claus, Indiana, found the Santa Claus Museum, a place that keeps letters to Santa dating back to the 1930's.

We went through 60.000 letters, selected 75 of them and then set out on an impossible task: to find the writers and give them the exact gifts they had asked when kids - from a Cathy Quickcurl doll to an Evel Knievel Skyrocket.

We also made a video documenting the whole process, including each personalized stunt, and spread it across the world through Coca-Cola's facebook fanpage, which has more than 25 million fans.

Outcome

We gave adults a reason to believe in Christmas again.
