Overview of the Compaq 50k of Coronet. The 50k of Coronet downhill international ski race ran for the first time 17-18 July 2000. Modeled on the internationally renowned 24 Hours of Aspen, the race involves teams of three skiers racing over a sixteen hour period, 6pm to 10am the following day, with the objective of completing the greatest number of downhill runs in that timeframe.
