Description

We created “Couchland,” a web series, featuring digital influencers as hosts, designed to provide a consistent stream of content recommendations. This way we’d ensure Fire TV users always have ideas for something to watch.

Execution

The “Couchland” campaign was rolled out over the course of four months (from Sept. - Dec.), and was comprised of:

- 36 “Couchland” YouTube segments/episodes

- 21 “Couchland Quickies” (demos of how Alexa can manage and interact with FireTV)

- 150+ social posts (comprised of teasers, show trivia, and behind the scenes)

Influencers helped drive viewers to tune in to “Couchland” via:

- Promotion to their 15 Million+ combined social media followings

- 57 Branded videos on Fire TV’s owned channels

- 200+ Social posts

Lastly, the campaign was supported via paid media. We ran :30 YouTube True View ads featuring the influencers across their own channels to drive awareness amongst their audiences. Paid creative was rotated out with new content as each new episode released.

Outcome

“Couchland” has changed the way that Fire TV users devour all of the amazing content that services such as Amazon Video, Netflix, HBO Go, and Hulu have to offer.

Brought to life through trusted, knowledgeable hosts, “Couchland” exceeded all campaign expectations and generated:

- 20.6 million views

- 50K+ Engagements (likes, comments, and shares)

- 102 Million+ Impressions (earned and paid)
