Description
The TV features football mad protagonists and their clumsy attempts at persuading their loved ones to invest in a new telly
just in time for the 2014 World Cup. They do this under the pretence that it’s a selfless act entirely for the benefit of their
loved ones and is in no way related to football.
Execution
Abandoning the typical rules of casting beautiful young men and women in lead roles, we applied an anti-casting approach, instead employing actors and actresses our audience could identify and empathise with. By putting greater emphasis on their ability to recreate those familiar gestures and quirky mannerisms only a long-suffering partner would notice, we aimed to produce stronger performances.
