Description
We needed to inspire creative professionals with Google’s platforms, products and case studies.
We didn't want to over "tech" our audience, so we told this inherently digital story by updating a charming piece of analogue UI: the pop-up book.
Our book (built on a custom 3D engine – using Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3) led the 'reader' through Google's core products; YouTube, Mobile, Maps, Search and Social.
The animation was familiar; tabs to pull, pages to turn, foam hands to bounce, magnifying glasses to see more, but the story was new; this is the place where creativity is born.
