Donate Your View uses a technology that is available on YouTube in an innovative way. The project was created specifically for Obra do Berço and it’s a first in the world (launched in March 13th, 2014).

The project works based on Google AdSense, where ads are automatically directed to videos based on the number of views they get.

Donate Your View is already implemented, but has only been up for 2 ½ months (with encouraging numbers of views/donations – 4 million – and impact – 53 million people, with zero investment in media // source: Boobox + Google Analytics). New phase will begin now with the adding of different NGOs around the country, and contact is being made with important NGO in Latin America and USA for the internationalization of the platform.

Outcome

The goal of the project started as being a way to generate donations to Obra do Berço, as it is an NGO that depends vitally on donations to do its work. But with the great response from the public and visibility of the project, with the instant interest coming from NGOs all over the country, we realized the opportunity for doing something much bigger: Donate Your View is becoming an independent company, an online platform for helping NGOs worldwide.
