Description

“driving the piano” is the TOYOTA PHV brand’s video for global promotion.

One of TOYOTA PHV’s characteristics is “driving that utilizes three sources of power (one engine and two motors).”

We sought express TOYOTA’s new approach to driving as entertainment.

The sizable apparatus called “Trinity Piano” was constructed according to a meticulous design.

The speed of the wooden musical score that evokes images of the road is controlled by three individuals.

The wooden score is read and levers move over the keyboard to play the piano as the handles are turned. This music ensemble was created with an analogue technique to convey the greatest feature of hybrid cars, which is environmental performance.

Driving without a car.

This is our innovative and unique approach to “TOYOTA’s completely new driving experience.”
