Description

Duracell is a global alkaline battery brand that is established as a long lasting product. To emphasise the same feature, create a simple to understand communication integrated with the usual busy calendar format.

Execution

To bring out the idea, without complicating a calendar, we decided to speak less, actually speak the brand language without speaking at all. Using the globally recognized iconic copper and black Duracell design, we made a calendar that looks like a Duracell battery without the logo. Showing 365 days of non-stop battery power represented in one single Duracell. Staying true to the idea of a long lasting battery in a simple and effective design.

Outcome

The calendar was mailed to retailers, distributors and multi-brand electronics supermarkets who immediately loved the design and displayed it around their stores. Duracell received many letters and mails of compliments from them for the design. In a cluttered market-space, the essence of an iconic brand in a simple design captured a lot of eyes and hearts. Some consumers even requested to buy one when buying batteries.
