Execution

The idea involves giving away items in Spanish holiday places (such as the Costa del Sol) such as car shades, beach parasols, and baseball caps with a hole in them to let in the sun - which can be very annoying at this time of year - emulating the effects of the ozone hole.

Outcome

The idea has been welcomed by holiday-makers and has resulted in controversy, reflection and greater awareness of this issue. More than 1,800 hits were recorded on our website in the two weeks following the action.
