We created a beautiful, giant sized slot machine containing Eton shirts and placed it at the main entrance of the NK department store. We called it the Eton Style Carousel since you ended up with a winning combination of Eton shirts – however the wheels spun – as well as getting inspired by the latest shirt styles. In a very impactful, playful and immaculately crafted manner, you could take Eton styles for a spin and win. Three in a row – and you got the shirt; any other combination provided inspiration and a stylish lapel pin. Prizes were collected at the Eton store to maximize shop-in-shop traffic, to inspire purchases and boost sales.

We handcrafted a very beautiful and expensive looking, giant sized slot machine, containing actual Eton shirts on the wheels. We placed it at the entrance of Sweden’s most iconic department store, NK, for one week. Visitors got to spin the wheels through an interactive touchpad and could win Eton products. The prizes were collected at the Eton store to add an extra boost to the the machines traffic driving properties. Key customers were invited through the NK loyalty program and personal invitations were sent to influencers and media for the launch event. Then the installation was opened to the public.

The results for the The Style Carousel were way beyond the set out goals and expectations. Thousands of customers played the machine during the week at NK and many more watched as others played. It was covered in several men´s fashion magazines and menswear blogs. Compared to similar weeks’ traffic and footfall increased by 22% to the department. But most importantly sales in the Eton shop-in-shop increased by more than 50% in relation to comparable weeks in 2016 and the same week last year, all thanks to the Eton Style Carousel.
