Graphic identity for EuroBasket 2011 in Lithuania.The task is to find a solution for a unique Lithuanian and Basketball combination.
Execution
Secondary element in graphic identity is chosen to emphasize basketball as the second religion in Lithuania. Ethno decorative style combines ancient Lithuanian ornaments with basketball symbols. This combination expresses most important values for every Lithuanian. Key words – Basketball, Lithuania, Game.
Outcome
24 national teams will participate in the tournament. 30 thousand fans from around the world are expected to come to Lithuania. The Championship game will be broadcasted to more than 140 countries and territories, and more than 180 million viewers will be able to feel the Lithuanian spirit.
