Description
The objective given to the design agency was doubled:
- Increase the value of the packaging by adding a double function to the champagne bucket. The packaging would then become a long-lasting service object.
- Create a smart, different and light style corresponding to the brand’s values.
The creation agency thus imagined an innovative case of cylindrical shape which pops up and becomes an ice bucket that dresses up the emblematic Carte Jaune Brut bottle with an attractive pleated dress.
Inspired by the Marylin's dress, this accessory has a real 'Haute Couture' spirit.
Execution
One of the most important challenges consisted in resolving the complex kinematics of folds while keeping in mind standard costs and materials such as paper.
The packaging also answered classic constraints of congestion which were difficulty compatible with the double function.
Outcome
By its innovative shape, Fashionably Clicquot had an immediate success with the press, the design world, distributors and consumers.
The bucket packaging naturally became an animation tool itself, smart and impactful at the same time.
Finally, this double use was easily found during improvised and festive evenings, relieved by the social networks (instagram, tumblr, Pinterest, facebook) who largely participated in its popular success.
