Description

‘Find Your Fit’ showed the world that health and fitness was not only for the hardcore - it was for them too.

We showed ‘fit’ didn’t just have to be the tough world they thought. But it came in all shapes and sizes, motions and emotions.

Find your fit was an education and a call to action, no matter who you were, grandmothers, uncles, daughters, sisters and sons.

By encouraging people to find their fit, we gave them permission to have fun while getting fit, and we proved to them that every step they took – really counted.

Execution

In a matter of one year we went from a small startup to a global marketing organization, telling Fitbit's story in 22 countries around the world. How? We started with Fitbit's first ever brand anthem "Find Your Fit", our mission, bring to life the impressive amount of activities that now count as fitness. And we were everywhere, in magazines, online, on television and all across the internet. After exposing the breadth of activities we wanted to dive deeper, so we plucked individual stories from our anthem and amazing stories we read about online and championed their own motivations and passions. These stories stories took on a life of their own, inspiring Fitbit's community on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube and eventually finding the lime light in cinema.

Outcome

We increased sales, launched a successful IPO and developed work that redefined the way people see fitness.

* Increased sales: November 2015, reported Q3 revenue of $409 million, an 168% increase year-over-year (To toot our own horn a bit, that’s VERY good and an indication of the success of the campaign, which first launched last November.)

* Successful IPO: stock price soared 20% on second day and rose 74% in first three months of trading
