Description
Branded content is totally new in France. The audience is discovering how a brand can tell a story involving a product or a brand message.
Execution
First we teased press/journalists/bloggers about our very unexpected casting. It generated a first PR blast. Then we started to release each episodes on a weekly basis. We had in mind to pitch our series to an European broadcaster after having first stunning results: we did it. Thanks to people's excitement the series went on M6 TV channel. From there it went very big. 18 millions people were reached by our Comeback Story. We finally organized a concert in Paris in front of fans and journalists. This was our last episode, in live.
Outcome
18 millions people followed the webseries. M6, one of the biggest TV channel, decided to broadcast the series. 90% of people liked this Ford new initiative. The track produced by this new band has been downloaded more than 100,000 times. And the band is actually on tour with the EcoSport car. Pre-command for the new Ford EcoSport increased by 400% compared to the previous car launch.
