Description

At TBWA\ISTANBUL we give back to nature what we take from it. Every year we calculate the actual amount of CO2 measured in metric tons according to expenditures and plant an equivalent amount of trees to offset it. But is this the best an agency can do?

Execution

The idea is based on one of the main consequences of global warming: HOT NIGHTS.Website HOTNIGHTCHATS.COMHOT-LINE +90212 4440759.

We started with the teaser radio spots announcing the website and the hot-line. We continued with pornographic ads in newspapers.We hung the hot-night posters all around town. We also made a viral YouTube video.When people called the phone line or clicked on to the website they discovered what ‘HOT NIGHTS’ was all about: GLOBAL WARMING! We also collaborated with real call-girls to hand out our hot night brochures against global warming at places where they usually operate.
