Description

In November 2012, Volkswagen launched the 7th generation Golf. Armed with numerous innovations and features, the new Golf sets the benchmark in its class. On these grounds, we´ve created an innovative iPad App that highlights the features of both: the device and the car. One major part is an involving Driving Experience. In an impressively rendered ALL-CGI film called "One Great Day" we guide the user through the day with the new Golf from a personal point of view. It´s not just that the user has the possibility to stop the film for a complete walk around but also the chance to chose their favorite color and rims by touch or voice control. Once the user is happy with his selection, the car drives off, thus the movie goes on with the users most favorite car configuration. Those 2 minutes of incredible native app experience and the app itself led to further actions: Not only an increase of the Likes of the Facebook Fanpage could be achieved. But many users also have used the possibility to order the print catalog and to register for a test drive right out of the app. Propably not least in order to come even closer to the new Golf.
