Description
Robberies are such frequent topic in the news that Peruvians are not surprised anymore by them. So we created a video that faked the robbery of the safest place in Peru: Government's Palace, the residence of the president.
Execution
We created a fake surveillance video that showed delinquents robbing Government's Place, then uploaded it to Forte's youtube channel and pushed it via social media influencers. The reaction was immediate.
Outcome
The video was shared all over social networks and featured in the main media outlets on prime time, resulting in $300,000 USD of earned media. It also reached 3,000,000 on social media, generating more than 40,000 shares. Ultimately growing the brand awareness by 29%, and making Forte the top of mind brand of the security sector.
