Description

In the film, we see a group of children on a school trip to an aquarium. They queue excitedly for a new exhibit: “Ocean of the Future”, talking about the marine life they are looking forward to seeing. However, when they get inside, they find that the beautiful fish and animals have been replaced with plastic waste like bottles, bags and food packaging. After we see their crestfallen faces, the film informs us that UK supermarkets produce 800,000 tons of plastic every year. It encourages consumers to sign a Greenpeace petition calling for supermarkets to reduce their plastic footprint.
