Description

Our brief from Argos was to drive seasonal sales for the Whitsun bank holiday, particularly in outdoor furniture, as summer approaches.Creatively, the strategy was brought to life by showing ridiculous ways that consumers could ‘live for less’ (for example, by cutting the kids hair at home using a bowl, instead of going to the hairdressers), then suggesting that they come to Argos instead.

In order to make these adverts as compelling as possible, we based our ridiculous situations around consumer insights that we know are relevant to our customers, e.g. dining in at home rather than eating out.
