Description

The idea is very simple: to create woodcut posters related to the movie. With the concept “Your future is not engraved. Draw it”.

Execution

Each image was created by hand and illustrates famous quotes of Malala. We used woodcut techniques and printed them individually. We didn’t use any digital retouch. The artist is José Saccone, one of the biggest promises of the argentinian art. We printed only 40 copies of each poster to distribute to the press and use in special events.

Outcome

“He Named Me Malala” had one of the biggest ratings of National Geographic Channel. And the video with the artist working on the posters were a success in the social networks, helping to spread the Malala’s message.
