Feestje.nl (Dutch for party.com) offers Heineken a platform to communicate with consumers about private parties at home. The goal is to promote the Cooltap (a home draught beer system) and the Longnecks (special bottles). The website allows you to order these items directly from a liquor store near you. Feestje.nl helps you to organise a successful party. The site is both fun and funcational. It offers fully integrated tools like finding a Cooltap, calculating purchases, and inviting your friends and compiling letters for your neighbours. There is always a party on the homepage. The characters in the house encourage you to try all the tools on the right-hand side. With every tool you use, the party on the homepage becomes bigger and better. There are over 2 hours of animation packed into the site, and intelligent software makes the characters react to the user in many ways. The site allows you to create a Personal Party Page to post information on or party photographs. Your order and the names of your guests are automatically added when using the tools. About 200 pages are created each day. Feestje.nl is a very successful marketing tool for Heineken and a lot of fun to visit.
