Description

7 out of 10 women in Peru has suffer any kind of violence 10.5 millions. The main factor to stop this cycle of violence towards women is reporting to the authorities the abuser but that's the hardest thing to make.

Social and family judgement, economic dependency and fear of the reaction from the abuser are the reason why women don't report.

In order to facilitate the process of reporting a very intimate space where women are really alone was used to help the women that constantly visit Jockey Plaza.

Help Booth a strategically placed space:

In the bathroom of the mall was installed in order to help women report abuse cases to the 100 line anonymously.

Being truthful to our brand idea "Jockey Plaza Wants You Happy" and contribute to stop the bloodbath women life in.

Execution

During the International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women, Jockey Plaza installed in a bathroom a intimate cabin with a phone that was connected directly to the 100 line where women can report abuse but at the same time can receive psychological help and advise to break the dangerous circle of violence.

Outcome

Help Booth with Zero media budget achieved:

- Calls to the 100 line increased by 39% compared to the same time of the previous year

- 36% of cases effectively attended

- 1 million social media impressions

- The ministry of Women share the iniciative

- Is the most successful campaign of the brand in their history

- And the best more places are starting to installed the cabins inside their own spaces helping women all over Peru.
